2017 DC Chapter--BYU Management Society Gala
Please join us at the Washington DC Chapter’s 2017 Annual Gala Dinner, which will be held Saturday evening, April 29. We are pleased to announce Elder Kim B. Clark, General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Church Commissioner of Education, will be the speaker. Elder Clark will speak on the Church’s recently announced Global Education Initiative.
Elder Clark was Dean of the Harvard Business School from 1995-2005, when he was called as president of BYU-Idaho. He served there until 2015, when he was called to the Seventy and became the Commissioner of Education. Under Elder Clark’s leadership, the Church has recently implemented many wide-ranging education programs including Doctrinal Mastery for youth, and the Global Education Initiative, which will provide educational opportunities to students around the globe at an accessible cost.
